How We Got Started
Servolution Network, Inc. was inspired by the original Servolution movement that began in Louisiana as a response to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. What started as a powerful example of communities coming together to serve others became the foundation for a mission rooted in compassion, action, and lasting impact.
In 2014, Servolution Network was co-founded by Jason Malewiski and Bruce Adams as a grassroots outreach of The Church at Azle. The organization began with a simple purpose: to feed the hungry and assist those in need through minor home repairs. What started as a small, local effort quickly revealed a much greater need within the community, laying the groundwork for something far more impactful.
By 2016, Servolution Network’s vision was further shaped by the influence of another local charitable organization, 6 Stones. This inspiration led to a significant milestone as Servolution entered into a 380 Economic Development Agreement with the City of Azle. Shortly thereafter, in 2017, the organization officially established itself as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. With this transition came the launch of its now well-known twice-yearly home revitalization blitzes, mobilizing volunteers to restore and repair homes for those in need.
As Servolution Network continued to grow, so did its impact. In 2021, the organization was honored as a recipient of the Mueller, Inc. and Texas Country Reporter Helping Hand warehouse building grant. This recognition highlighted the meaningful work being done within the community and provided essential infrastructure to expand operations. The story was shared both regionally and nationally, bringing greater awareness to the mission and its results.
Momentum continued as partnerships strengthened. The City of Azle has consistently renewed its 380 Economic Development Agreement each year, demonstrating ongoing trust and support. In 2022, Servolution expanded its reach by securing an additional 380 agreement with the City of Lake Worth. These partnerships have played a vital role in sustaining and scaling the organization’s efforts.
To date, Servolution Network has revitalized, repaired, or improved accessibility for approximately 280 homes. Each project represents more than physical repairs—it reflects a commitment to restoring dignity, safety, and hope for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
Today, Servolution Network exists to create opportunities for people to be a blessing to others. Through volunteer-driven initiatives, the organization serves at-risk individuals including the elderly, disabled, Veterans, and economically disadvantaged families. Its programs include home revitalization and accessibility projects, distribution of free furniture and appliances, medical equipment support, and the operation of 24/7 neighborhood food pantries.
In addition to ongoing programs, Servolution responds to seasonal and urgent needs within the community. Whether providing space heaters during the winter or window air conditioning units during extreme summer heat, the organization remains committed to meeting practical needs in real time.
At its core, Servolution Network is about people coming together with purpose. It is a reflection of what can happen when a community chooses to serve, support, and uplift one another. Through continued growth and partnership, the mission remains the same: to transform lives by meeting real needs with compassion, consistency, and action.
